# It's a bit like Vurt.
There's a drug in that called Fecundity 10 that lets people and animals and dead people breed.

# I... what?
That sounds so hilariously fucked up, I need to give it a look.

# It's probably a bit of it's time, early 90s drugs, raves and early concepts of virtual reality.
There's a sequel called Pollen, too.

# I could just about cope with Vurt.
Pollen went a bit mental.
See also 'Only Forward', but not anything since.

# Weirdly, I found Pollen easier. Vurt took a couple of goes.
I came straight from hard sf to Vurt and it was a bit of a head trip. I might try reading it again actually.

# On the contrary, I'm always up for sheer mindfuckery.
Just checked it out on Wikipedia, sounds like my cup of tea. Besides, I need something new to read after Drive and Driven.

# Was driven any good?
I got about a third of the way in, and didnt read any more for about a month or 2. Now i can't remember what happened, so im inclined to start from scratch. I dont have much time for books / reading.

# Driven's ace.
Only problem being, it's even shorter than Drive. I consider the two to be just one book, as Driven is pretty much a direct sequel anyway.

I think it's pretty much required to read Drive beforehand, as there's stuff that would otherwise be lost on anyone who hasn't in Driven.
