I think I know where that might come from. I saw a dragonfly larva in my aquarium and nearly pissed myself. It looked and moved rapidly through the plants snakily exactly like a Chinese dragon, actually the most frightening looking insect in its appearance that I've ever seen. Then it disappeared. A few days later a tiny blue/green dragonfly was banging around the aquarium lights where it lived for a few days.
