Yay I did too! that's how I figured out how to do them :-)As far as i could figure, for the best result you put the oposite colour dot or shape on the oposite colour background, then put a little bit of black on one side and white on the other..

so, the motion illusion is your creation? If so, I am impressed -- very much so. I have tried the effect and gotten results that only work if you 'stand back and squint' :)

and changed it to what you see,
