Those are actors portraying dead bodies, whereas the image above is of an actual corpse.The bullet is just exiting his skull, hence the face. I just don't like seeing dead people.

Think of it as a commentary on the violence that was inherent in the British Empire, perhaps even a dig at the rose tinted view of Empire as demonstrated in the other posts in this compo.
