# not meant to be patronising
I take the Marxist view of class which doesn't worry about upper / lower / middle stuff which is largely about marketing.

Instead it's mainly splitting us into two groups - proles and capitalist. The owned and the owners etc. I'm very much in the owned class I'm afraid.

News media largely reflects the opinions of the owner class. Who in this case often hate the EU because it introduced a load of worker rights which, if you run a big business, you'd save tonnes of cash by stripping away.

# Why not simply start a Marxist newspaper illustrated by b3tans, Rob?
It would either be incredibly successful or confuse a lot of people.

# It's also a rather short sighted view on the part of the owner class, especially the ones who actually do business in Europe.
Workers aren't likely to sit by and watch all those rights get stripped away. It would end up costing firms a lot more in industrial action and lose us a lot of business in the long term.
