watched it at the cinema first, which got me hooked into the series.

Decent film, even for the uninitiated as I was at the time - works well as a standalone piece of cinema.

I don't know if I'm in the minority on this one but I kind of have high hopes for Episode 7. With it not being a prequel as well, there's a lot more breathing space, and there isn't much to fuck up.
