I see old/new Trek as completely seperate entities that happen to share a genetic heritage.
My friend would argue that new Trek is a hideous mutation that should have been drowned at birth.

i adore the original but, even with fast zombies, the remake was a fucking cracker of a film. i just view them as 2 completely separate films.
