It was entertaining eye candy.I see old/new Trek as completely seperate entities that happen to share a genetic heritage.

it's the whole DoTD original/remake thing i adore the original but, even with fast zombies, the remake was a fucking cracker of a film. i just view them as 2 completely separate films.
