It's stories like 'The Midnight Surfer' and 'Oz' that occasionally makes me think that the world of Judge Dredd might be better served on TV.Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see more Mega City One at the movies, but the city that's spawned a thousand different characters, all with a tale to tell, could easily become a weekly series.

The initial outlay would be terrifying, but HBO could probably afford it if they thought Americans might actually watch the show.
