# Fuck yeah!
Submitted this to the 2000AD/Twitter challenge, yet?
(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 11:03, archived)
# yep, thought I'd better draw something new for it

# I tweaked Nemesis, but the three I've submitted are all oldies.
Now I have the rest of the week off, I suppose I'd best get the pencils out.

# I avoid 2000AD's official compos now
Last 2 times I tried, established writers "won".

# Really? Grim.
This one seems to be all about Average Joes posting pictures, with a first prize of a handful of graphic novels to the winner.

# ah that takes me back
brushes with one single hair to do the eyes

getting high on the enamel paints

cutting chunks out of me whilst whittling off the lead extrusion blips

# It's stories like 'The Midnight Surfer' and 'Oz' that occasionally makes me think that the world of Judge Dredd might be better served on TV.
Don't get me wrong - I'd love to see more Mega City One at the movies, but the city that's spawned a thousand different characters, all with a tale to tell, could easily become a weekly series.

# With 99% of the budget blown on SFX and sets

# The initial outlay would be terrifying, but HBO could probably afford it if they thought Americans might actually watch the show.
(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 11:44, archived)
# But they'd have to scale down the social satire and intelligent plots
into a straightforward "Dirty Harry of the Future".

# Marlon Shakespeare! :)

*guessing that's the sort of thing that happens in 2000ad stuff
(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 11:23, archived)
# Oh yes
Love it

# Now you've got me looking at 2000AD reprints
you owe me £15 for the book I want

# Oooh... nice.

# There's a very good chance he would be in Dredd 2
Although that now seems unlikely, since the Dredd props are up for sale on ebay. :(

# Well, it's going to be a different director so changes to costume and props are inevitable
Last I heard about it was Garland and Urban talking about a trilogy.
Fingers crossed

# Ridiculous prices
I would not pay that for a leather belt just because it's got quite a nice buckle and may have had a few seconds of air time.
(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 14:56, archived)
# 2000AD have stated that the Ebay sale has no bearing either way on the sequels
lets hope that's true, although if it was me I'd be saving all the pennies I could to make the money go further
(, Wed 6 Feb 2013, 13:45, archived)
# That is wonderful.
