The first one is actually pretty enjoyable, but is more of an alternative universe version of the crew and history.The new one is shit. Had some OK bits, but too much bang and not enough thought-provocation.
And if you're intending on a trip to the cinema, don't bother with the 3D - it's a post-conversion*.

Interesting, it's been getting rave reviews, my friend said the same thing that it has lots of Splosions but no old school thought-brain stuff.Man of Steel is looking good, as well as Pacific Rimmer and Elysium.
