yeah ..The idea in my head was to create four small non sequitur type illustrations where the only connection to the fourth one was the silly pun. Also I liked the idea of the disconnect between the women and the football player.
However, when looking at it today I see at least two things that ruin my intention. First of all, you'll have to look twice to notice that the footballer is a footballer and not some BNP skinhead. Secondly, and more profoundly, if you place four similar images in sequence, people will interpret them as depicting a sequence of events. So the immediate thought when you see it for the first time would be that it's a short comic about a skinhead kicking the kneecap off an Arab woman. And if the drawing doesn't strike its target the first time, there will be no second chance.
Oh well .. posting these things is always a learning experience for me.
