Driving outback from Darwin to Uluru I found a petrol station with an off-license that rather industriously had a large cool-box just inside the door, packed with ice and individual bottles of the most popular beers - the idea being you could have a nice cold one while your browsed the aisles for the beer you really wanted to drink and drive with.
We've got drive-through off-licenses everywhere of course, but this raised the bar.
