Reductionist horseshit
There's a lot more than just religion going wrong here. Economics, politics, culture, mass media.. it's all a fucking swindle. Bollocks to it all I say.

The irony was wasted on you then?
Of course it's reductionist, look above the discussion covers it.

No worries.
I am an atheist, but I rather see myself as a thinking atheist. There's no need for atheists to be nasty to people of religion and most of them can take a bit of mockery and leg pulling, those people I like. The one's who tell everybody to burn in hell I have zero respect for.

It's all a bit silly tbh
I just see it as mostly as a distraction from more pressing issues, such as what the fuck to do about it all.

Events often overtake pressing issues. Usually they resolve themselves or we have another big fuck off war.

I dunno what's worth fighting about any more
These are hardly inspiring times. I have equal amounts of contempt for both our oppressors and the wretched oppressed.

I'm more of an apathetic socialist - revolution would be nice, but first a nap!

Revolution would be fantastic
only we're so horrendously domesticated and dependent on capitalism for our basic needs that the logistics seem impossible. Plus you need to inspire people that it's a worthwhile endeavor, yet we have a populous of cynical, obtuse, arrogant, bullying bellends. Like I said, bollocks to it all. I hope a cock-shaped asteroid flattens the lot.

At least we have something we can all agree to pin the blame on though, eh
