# 'I have a Deram'

Most people know that August 28th is the 50th anniversary of Martin Luther King's famous 'I have a Dream' speech at the Lincoln Memorial, but few are aware of the scheduling mix-up that resulted in his accidental 'I have a Deram' speech about his jazz record collection to a dyslexics rally at the same location the day before.

Son of a long time friend, came up via local brass band to play a bit of tuba. Google '"Peter Smith" tuba'.

I just play in local bands, mostly jazz, a bit of rock, and some old time junk music. I never got into the Classical stuff. No way to make a living...
(but I know most of the professional tuba operators in my area.)
