Well I had an idea for something to makewhich would have worked a bit like those big-eye-and-mouth .gifs I've been making.
So, I just went on youtube to look for dancing clips. The search term I used was 'dancing', and there was nothing I could use on the first page of results.
So I tried the second page, and the third, and the fourth, and the same results are appearing on every page. They're all the same as the first page.
Then I tried it with 'singing', same thing.
I have no idea what's going on.

Ok, Intimate Exploiter worksBut Firefox is just bringing up the same page of results for every page.
It's not the link buttons that are broken, I've tried changing the page numbers in the URL and it still brings up the first page results.
I've just tried disabling all addons and it's still not working.
Ok this is getting weird. I just tried another computer here, on the same network, using the same connection, with the same version of Firefox, and that's working fine.

Have you tried going into the firefox config pageand disabling UFILTAD?

I thought you were jokingYou might try www.safer-networking.org/private/ spybot search and destroy, but be careful if you want to keep your browser history. Get the free version and it'll purge whatever was hijacking your browser. Also update it and do the inoculation (at least twice) so it stops it from happening again.

If that doesn't get rid of all the things causing issuesgaz me and I'll send a fool proof plan for any viruses you might have. But I'd be prepared to bet that the inoculation will stop it from returning. Turn of the live scan thing (used to be called tea timer) if it makes your computer too slow to use. Turn it on again if your computer becomes too slow to use, update and run a scan.

Thanks for the advice :)Pretty sure it wasn't a highjack, the first page results I'm getting now are the same as before I cleared all cookies, and they seem legit.
The subsequent pages are all different.
I'm pretty sure it was a cookie issue. I'm running a couple of work-arounds to bypass some of the google stuff that annoys me (search suggestions, the new image search interface, etc.). Every now and again one of them causes problems.

All seems wellbut a coat of spybot always helps :)
and like I said, if you get a nasty, just let me know. I am quite adept at removing them in the most painless way possible. I enjoy your work, keep it up!
