# First time I saw an iPad in use was this consultant who came in for a meeting and was using it to take notes.
Typing on it took much longer than writing would have so we had to keep stopping for him to catch up. I asked him at the time why he didn't just use a notebook. The answer? 'Oh, I might need to email this to someone.'
