Possible reasons for this appointment :1) She hates Boris and wants him to have to grovel, backtrack and apologise to all the world leaders he's insulted/offended over the years.
2) She hates the UK and wants to see it fractured and isolated.
3) She needs an easy target to take the blame for everything if Brexit goes through.
