I worry the Hollywood version will be full of Millennial references instead of 80's stufffeaturing the movie American Pie instead of War Games and classic music like Blink 182. As an Audiobook having Wheaton read it really added to the experience as he got to mention himself at one point.
Wait, I take it all back IMDB says 'Filming Locations: Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham. Also, underneath Spaghetti Junction.' That is gonna be some bostin' urban nightmare backdrop, maybe they'll recreate the Bull Ring in CGI how it used to be. The book really hit home with me and the film might hit even closer.
