They all preside over dysfunctional departments, fail miserably to control migration in any meaningful way and instead create this atmosphere of tarring everyone with the same brush.
Very few people want a halt to immigration, most want a fair system so that we ensure stability and moderate the feelings of change.
Rudd and May are just symptomatic of the paucity of ability among our political elites. None of them improve things, they just watch over a steady degradation until they can collect their gold plated pension.
I'd really like to see politicians incentivised for success, not how many jobs they can hold down. They only get paid when they meet manifesto commitments, otherwise minimum wage.
