As no-one will tell you...Click 'new message', upload it, copy the code in the box but DON'T click 'post this message'.
Instead just click 'B3ta' and go back to a thread and paste the code in the 'reply' box.
You can then have a reply with your picture embedded, rather than multiple threads. Like this:
