to be fair I think it was a person dicking around sitting in an unused 'seat'?they could of course have just said that rather than "take the photo down"

Seems there's some dispute over it being "bantz" or not, the original poster added this:"One has to wonder how safe the rest of the plane was. This was her seat. The lady was moved to a spare seat once the flight was fully boarded. Not sure what would have happened if the flight was full."
So sounds more like a mix up on boarding perhaps. Non story/misunderstanding blown out of proportion.

Parsing the statement, it doesn't necessarily mean that the photo was taken during the flight's descent...
