I spotted that during my researchV is 1, X is 2, S is 3 and C is 4. I would have thought more sensible keys would have been 1, 2, 3 and 4, respectively.

VIII was the beginning of the end for me. I’m not keen on that bishonen style.I might have liked IX if there had been a PC release but nothing after that ever appealed to me.

I don’t own a PlayStation. ‘Twas Nintendo then Xbox for me. Either way, I don’t find moping androgynous characters to be all that appealing. I did play IX briefly but wasn’t all that impressed.
