im confused, i thought she was trying to stop small boats crossing to avoid this kind of thing? Why do you think the RNLI and boarder force go out and fish them out of their boats when they cross in to British waters? TO save their lives. The French don't give a shit. SHe has to stop them as this country is screwed. More people have landed in its shores in the last 20 years than the preceding 200 and people wonder why nothing works anymore. Ah well might as well stop having kids to hasten our demise. I'm sure life will be better under the Chinese... down with the west (cough)

# You are indeed confused
It's a classic distraction tactic to divert attention away from the lowest investment of any developed country, a population getting poorer by the day, a terrible economy, rampant crime and, at the centre of it all, a sleazy and inompetent government siphoning as much taxpayer cash to its rich donors as it can,in case it gets kicked out at the next GE.

The Conservatives are finished. The members voted for Truss (small state, low taxes) and got Rushi and Hunt...

# You're confused because you're gullible and stupid.
Significantly more people are born here than arrive by boat. Letting the NHS and the national infrastructure fall into disrepair was a political choice made by the same people encouraging you to blame refugees.

Mmm, I am confused. I did not blame refugees for the current state of affairs. Merely pointed out that increasing the population whilst failing to invest in infrastructure, housing, energy and healthcare has lead to this sorry state of affairs. It is not unreasonable to have an immigration policy or some sort of population control. All the refugees arriving from France should have applied for asylum there as it is a safe country. The "Conservative" government has behaved precisely like a Labour one. The size of the state grows, taxes go up. We are faced with an illusion of choice, and if you attempt to control migration flows are labelled far right. Weird how all the sheep like to call those who think for themselves "stupid". But i guess you just read what you want to read and not what was written, how clever.

# Yeah you are confused,
as by international law there is no onus on a refugee to stop at the first safe country they arrive at, quite the opposite in fact. And before you suggest international law shouldn't affect our special British sovereignty, remember that we made those international laws. Winston Churchill's most treasured legacies and all that.

You did blame the refugees when you said "SHe has to stop them as this country is screwed. More people have landed in its shores in the last 20 years than the preceding 200 and people wonder why nothing works anymore."

If you attempt to blame the political choices made by this government on the folk demons created by this government, then it is accurate to describe you as gullible and stupid.

I'm not sure what your mini rant about the size of the state is referring to, but it doesn't seem reality-based either.

Rant? Gas lighting? You and I are not equals, remember this.

# I'm sure a three letter slogan
hooked to an over-simplistic populist solution that doesn't address any of the core issues will work this time.

When do you think we'll start seeing results?
