# productive day
I have sat with this window on the back of my screen all day. I typed help around 11am. I typed the other stuff just now. I seem to have executed 5 nops at some point.

clicky for full

I think I managed to sell my car though.

Home time in 12 minutes...

[edit: a 'nop' is 'no operation' it does fuck all.]

[edit2: another good point... PIE! for tea.]

# Thats a brilliant program!
You are an assembler genius. And it'll run on several completely different architectures without any source changes!

# Yes, I have no idea what that is,
but yes.

# not understanding what a nop is
i assume it's a person that you have murdered.

# nop
is "no operation". It is present on pretty much all CPU's. It does... nothing! (well, except use up some cycles).

# .
Yup.

Your PC probably performs around 1000 million cycles every second. I have performed 5 cycles all day. They didn't do anything either.

['your' meaning people in general, of course, not just lumpbuckets PC. I'm sure lumpbucket knows how his PC works.]

# indeed i do.
being, as I am, a professional assembler programmer :)
