# Yawn, morn'ng...

# That...

# It was from Aldi...
...but it was a thing of luck and timing.

Someone posted that Aldi had a special offer on a graphics tablet (it's an A4 "Medion", I think you can only get them at Aldi), it was selling for £30.

I bought the last 3 from my local shop, they'd sold out most places around here by about 2pm.

I'm luck in that I live in Stoke, where they have no idea what a graphics tablet it.

But I do hear that Argos do a very good A5 tablet for £29.99

(sorry I can't be more help)

# Ahhhh I was going to head to my local aldi
but I slept in till 5pm being a feckless arse.

I might head up there today - dont think the pinkie-est region of Middlesbrough will be in a Gaphics tablet frenzy - then again, takes all sorts.

# That's funny
in the states Aldi is a chain of supermarkets where you buy really horrible low quality food and bag it yourself.

# bag it yourself?
I always feel vaguely unclean if not allowed to pack my own shopping, as if I've just asked someone to lick my shoes clean... would not touch Aldi with bargepole, though...

# it's the same here
vile place, have never been before, hope never to go again.
(, Fri 6 Jun 2003, 7:32, archived)
# Best thing about Aldi
is that the other supermarkets drop their prices when Aldi come to town. Yay for Aldi.
