# that's fish
from his early marillion days, 1982 to be specific. I was hoping to get a vote of confidence from the inevitable prog rock crowd amongst our number.

# blimey!
what was that song they did that sounded just like Sususususususudeo by Genesis?

# dunno, what were their 2 hits...
one was a girls name, Kayleigh or Keeley or something. and the other one was about lavendar or some other shit. it had a little drummer boy on the cover. like a bad old folk song with empassioned vocals and stadium rock drums. oof.

# oooh... you're going back a bit there...
(I did recognise him, actually... thus exposing aspects of my musical past)

Actually, I saw Fish in his first post-Marillion tour (for free, I hasten to add). It was the most pretentious pile of wank I've ever heard - the "Wilderness of Mirrors Tour" if I remember correctly.

After the first song, about two hundred people at the Glasgow Barrowlands chanted "Geez a Bun, Geez a bun, Geez a bun" and threw bread rolls at him.
