There is no Hindu concept of redemption
therefore hell is a non-starter.
Going back to Vedic tradition, you (basically) recycle until you
1)pay off/ balance up your karma
2)have nothing else to gain from the physical form
so you return to the divine.
Did that make any sense?

Nope,
According to Krsna, (but not to Swami Prabupadha, who is the "Hare Krishna" bossman), we
don't cross the species barrier in reincarnation - we come back as better/worse
members of the same species.
So (for example) my dog may come back as a better dog, but I will never accidentally bump into him in later life as a human.
Another answer to your question would be that is is unlikely that
any face of the divine would feel threatened
by your PC/Mac skill, so you're prolly ok.
