Indeed.
Definitely in the top 5 films ever, so why bother? You can hardly bring it up to date, as the film was so far ahead of it's time.

I'm not a bit Michael Caine fan, generally.. I find
him a bit dull.
It's just he got the parts and the style absolutely
*spot on* for those two films.... He's all in favour
of the remakes apparently... Sad thing is, I'll have to go an watch them.

Very true!
The latest stuff is unquestionably garbage, but
he's still revered and applauded in Hollywood.. which,
