# As i was walking up to my house this evening
I could see a mother pushing a pram with a wee baby in it and a friend/relative of hers walking alongside with a huge black rottweiller, as I got closer i realised it wasn't on a lead and wondered how safe that kid was if they ever leave the dog alone with it. The weirdest part was as I was walking from somewhere the (walking into a dark forest alone in a horror film) music started playing and getting louder as i got closer.
Thankfully i got to my steps just before we reached each other.

I really don't like dogs but have a soft spot for cats. This just reinforces those feelings.

# I was going to
defend dogs, but it's hard after tomsk's experience today :-(.

# Not the dogs fault.
They're bred to kill stuff about the size of a cat. Dogs need proper discipline and good owners. And those kids were not that type. They should punish the owners, not the dogs.

# The owners are liable
for dogs as they are seen as possessions (?) - certainly cats are classed as free agents and are not expected to be under human control.
Which is probably a good thing. My cats aren't even under cat control. They are well stupid :)
