they've put up fences now that school's started. you can still sit on the grass, but you can't walk across the big patches, so they don't get worn.

I have one that says to keep children and pets off the grass..
that's the real reason it's so green
you really shouldn't touch the river though. The Mississippi is famous for being dirty. And mark twain (the river, though maybe the dirtiness too)

dickybird is great though. There were 3 murders there last year, all drug related. and just recently, a friend of a friend was attacked by three guys, two carrying machetes, one with a chainsaw, and hes now in a critical condition in hospital having just had two of his limbs sewn back on. I love this fucking place.
