# are the laws in cali different then?
the way I understood it, when I was in Idaho if I'd had a legal address I had to get a new licence within 3 months...?

because as I understood it, having a licence can count as citizenship a lot of the time! still... it also sounds like it's possibly a sneaky way of registering the locations of immigrants for later rounding up.

I managed 3 years without a job, but it was absolute hell - and I'd have loved to have got a licence... maybe next time I'll bunk off in cali then :D

that states not legal for work/not legal to vote, and we will also have to register as being illegal. There's good points and bad points, one of the main good points is that the illegals will be driving legally and safely - as it stands right now you can't get insurance without a license (I can cos I have my UK one).
