Just a quick question for peeps, i'm new on here, and i was wandering is there a certain file size you try to keep the images under????

for anims, jpg's pixel wise maybe about 500 high or wide max, depends what it is of course :)

you can get away with 200k if it's a really good anim or something though.

are another matter... there's no call for a static image to get much over 50k unless it's something like one of those CTRL-A pics
