You're ill and nobody believes you. I think it happens mostly with women - they've been so indoctrinated with this crap that men always over-exaggerate how ill they are. If Captain Scott had had a woman with him when he died at the Antarctic, she'd have been saying "oh, shut up, it's just a head cold" as he picked away at his frostbitten fingers.
