I really must play with posernever even looked at it. and i've started on 3dsmax and given up within 10 minutes more times than i care to mention.
learning stuff from scratch is sooo frustrating. must do it some time though- this stuff is fantastic, I'd really like to be able to do it.

poser comes witha good help guide.
I had real problems with 3dsmax until i got a manual to work through.
your stuff would be great even if it was a fraction of your flash stuff.
