i was in shindig's class (metaphorically). a definition that uses itself as a predicate would be circular.

i am confused as to how it makes something always true...
surely that is a characteristic, not a definition?

i was trying to warp logical terms to find an answer which probably has nothing to do with logic =)

if something takes its own conclusion as its predicate, it can either be always true (p implies p) or it can be a paradox (¬p implies p). this can be demonstrated with kittens. honest >=)
