Sorry. Misunderstood.I DO email all our cartoons themselves to Rob, what I didn't want to do was email his asking why we couldn't get into the newsletter as that would probably just serve to irritate.

ah i see.yes, that's probably right. but if you phrase it nicely enough, you may get away with it. something like "here's my latest animation, I hope you like it. By the way, is it all right to have ads on the site to support bandwidth costs? i don't want that to keep things from getting in the newsletter."
