# It's Christmas record buying time!
So Gaz and I have made our own Christmas single. John Lennon's estate is so going to sue us.

The single is here.

Edit: Quick question about B3TA ettiquette. We have ads on our site to try and cover the server costs. Is this considered a no-no as no matter how we try we can't get anything included in the newsletter?

# i shouldn't think so.
there was an incident where someone changed the link to point to a £££-making advert AFTER it was newslettered. otherwise, not sure. if they're there by default it shouldn't matter - you have to make money some way.

why not email rob?

# Don't want to hassle him.
I'm sure he get's enough emails as it is.

# well thats the only way to get it in the newsletter as far as i know
besides, it's worth it.

# Sorry. Misunderstood.
I DO email all our cartoons themselves to Rob, what I didn't want to do was email his asking why we couldn't get into the newsletter as that would probably just serve to irritate.

# ah i see.
yes, that's probably right. but if you phrase it nicely enough, you may get away with it. something like "here's my latest animation, I hope you like it. By the way, is it all right to have ads on the site to support bandwidth costs? i don't want that to keep things from getting in the newsletter."

# Weebl...

He may well be a special case though.

# well, like for instance

... for me at least.

# Some stuff makes it...
...some stuff doesn't.

I think I have had more stuff turned down than included.

# i've had everything turned down.
the only thing that made it was something i didn't email in the first place.

# Fair enough.
Just wanted to make sure the advertising wasn't a faux pas. Thanks.
