and I have a XP1700+ spare but I Was looking for motherboard recommendations - its either that or I'm going to build a lego case arround a normal ATX board and use that

is all C3/EDEN/Transmete stuff - which are great for power economy/sound levels - but as I already have the 1700+ I don't really want to change to a lesser chip if I can help it

I have all my childhood lego in a sack somewhere - it's ment for my nephew - but this seems more worthy

but tat's too small for a PVR to be much sense - and I want to run linux/mythTV on it so I wabnt the hardware to be as bog standard as possible
but it does look like fun

Crusoe-based PC, so I'd be fairly surprised if you couldn't get Linux running on it.
It probably costs a bazillion pounds, though.
