# Email from Cuss Control about Buffys Swearing Keyboard ...
JAMES:

Thanks for sending this to us. We have had a number of emails from people referring to it, so it helps to know what they are talking about. It's intended to be funny, and if anyone thinks that it is, that's okay. Swearing that is funny is the least offensive. However, it's not exactly the highest caliber of humor. Very lame, and not clever or witty. Is it from the U.K.? It contains a few words we are not familiar with.

ROB:

When we made it I thought it was funny.

Oh well.

BTW: What site do you run? I don't remember sending this email.

JAMES:

You made it yourself? Why Buffy? Anyway, you get credit from some originality. You forgot to tell me where you are from.

You sent it to the email for the Cuss Control Academy! At least I didn't tell you it was complete trash!

ROB

Aha! I remember sending you that email now.

> Why Buffy?

To get more people to pass it on. Adding a celebrity to the mix makes things more appealing. Which are you going to click? 'The swearing keyboard' or 'Buffy's swearing keybaord.' Buffy is a big star, it could have been Britney Spears, or Anna Kournikova and got the same result.

> Is it from the U.K.?

Yep. London. The swearing is the combined work of me, my girlfriend and my friend Joel.

JAMES

I'm certain your girlfriend is a proper English girl and contributed only the anatomically and medically correct terminology! I hope the Buffy people don't get their lawyers after you.

# He sounds like a very nice man
i like that he is obviously only concerned with people being nasty, rather than swearing per se. I might join. I don't like people being nasty either.

# he looks like a nice man

I think I'd like him to be godfather to my kids. If I have them.
