through a pair of binoculars

but the focusing was really hard - i just took random photos and hoped one was right - because all i had to go on was the tiny low-rez camera screen. (i have a canon a70) how can i do it accuratly? any ideas?
ps. don't worry, the moon men have not dug a large canal system, it's a twig.

Trying not to sound like Joel when I say this, but:
