Not coming from the USA

I don't really have any allegiance to any team.

I do quite like the Cubs though, simply because they never win. The Giants too - I like that Barry Bonds fellow.

I'm from the north side of Chicago

so even though I had White Sox season tickets there was a backyard Cubbie fan lurking inside me...but I can't help myself. As much as I tried to resist it, I love to watch the Yankees. It's just great baseball.

We generally get

two live games broadcast over here per week. I have to admit that I love it when the Yankees are playing the Red Sox - it's like WWIII could break out at any moment.

I don't care much for the Yankees

but I really hate the Red Sox.

It was very nice to see them lose the A-Rod sweepstakes this offseason.

hurt his back yesterday (or Thursday) swinging in the batting cage; his status will be day-to-day.

And don't forget about his possible indictment for steroid abuse. He might not have a very good year this season, the way things are looking right now....
