but for some reason, that's what we called it, and it meant you had to count to eighty.
And you prefixed everything with "40 40", as in "40 40, ready or not" and "40 40 home!"
The "No fools around me" mantra was to prevent unscrupulous kids from standing next to the 'home' and immediately getting home as soon as you looked up from counting.
