# TJ - Flash help
imbedding a jpg into flash all looks good until exported to swf, then it looks more pixely than a pexely thing on a very pixally day. any help appreciated.

# File > Publish Settings
Click the Flash tab, and move the JPEG Compression setting up a bit. Keep going until an export looks nice.

edit: unless compression isn't the problem.

don't resize it once it's in flash, as it isn't a vector image, it remains a bitmap image and if you enlarge, you'll just see pixels!

# in the 'publish' section...
set 'quality' to 'best'. This tells flash to do proper resizing on bitmaps. You'll only see the improvement when you publish though.
