Samara is played by Daveigh Chase, who is 12 and has been in The Ring, Spirited Away, Lilo and Stitch and Donnie Darko.

How can someone be twelve and have more good films under their belt than Hugh Grant?

1st time i watched it was on a knackered tv and it added a very scary green tint to the fim and that bit especialy so. wasnt as effective in 'true colour mode' :)
