# I told my wife about this challenge
and showed her my Jesusified version, and she thought it was hysterical. I've honestly never heard of the guy before, and fail to see the humour in this challenge at all.

Edit: Woo to your pic though, and the other good shops that have come out of it. And I'm glad it's made Sunshine Elephant so happy, although again, I fail to understand why.

# I don't know why everybody
is complaining about not knowing who he is.

One of the best challenges ever was "Photoshop an Ostrich" and I doubt anybody knew who the Ostriches were either.

I suppose this kind of abstract challenge sort of forces people into being a bit more creative than normal as there is no obvious joke to go for.

Although I anticipate lots of hybrids of Kenny Loggins and Brian Blessed/Chump Manbear.

# I'm not complaining
I just don't know who he is, so I'm curious

# I know you're not compaining.
But I just got the impression a large proportion of people were unhappy with this challenge.

It was voted in by a majority of boarders on Friday morning though - just goes to show what a waste of time democracy is ;)

EDIT: Personally I love this challenge... I like opening up a face and just playing with it until I have something I like or get a better idea.

# Democracy is never a waste of time
if it gives people something to complain about.

# hehehe
as if we didn't have enough examples already...not that the usa's last vote was exactly democratic. Nor is the next one likely to be with the electronic voting machine manufacturer swearing to help Bush get re elelcted...

# I hadn't heard about that.
Why am I not surprised?

# I don't really like the idea
of having an electronic voting system.

I like the old fashioned "Ballot papers in a box" type of thing, where there is physical evidence of all votes cast.

Not that I am silly enough to think that people can't cheat using that method too - I guess theres just some areas where I am not happy relying on technology.

# I think it's a good idea
but that the computers should print off a sheet after you've voted so that you have the backup if you need it.

I was telling my friend while he was here that I could make an e voting computer for probably $500 a piece, but they wouldn't trust me if I charged so little.

# I'm not exactly complaining about the challenge
but I am totally mystified by the joy it seems to have brought Sunshine Elephant, among others.

Photoshop an ostrich, now there's something I can get my teeth into without feeling that I'm missing out on some inside joke.

# it's a nice old style challenge
like color this lizard

I saw that the other day and someone added to it a month ago :) seems a bit silly
