It's about Farmers
I don't mean cockney rhyming slang (Farmers=Farmer Giles=Piles), but the actual countryside-dwelling, crop-growing, get off my land Farmers.
When Eric Cantona played professional football, "ooh ahh Cantona" was often shouted from the terraces due to the fact that a) it contains his name, and b) it rhymes [possibly also c) football fans are easily amused].
A stereotype of the farming community, made popular by The Wurzels is that Farmers say "Ooo Arr" a lot.
I challenge anyone to name a song by the Wurzels other than Combine Harvester...
