I spent an unpleasant few minutes

the other day believing that the guy in those posters was someone I know and completely hate (he's an actor, so it wouldn't have been utterly impossible.) Then I spoke to someone who actually watched TV and was relieved to find out it's the guy from Sex and the City. But the resemblance is uncanny, I did a double take when I saw it.

I got made to watch it on the plane

it was guff and John does not look as fine as he did in Sex in the City or Northern Exposure. I recommend that if you are tempted to go and see it just watch Strictly Ballroom again.

She is well minging in the beginning but then is 'miraculously' transformed with a bit of slap and some contact lenses. It never works for me on a Monday morning.

Worked for me, when I got me lenses no one recognised me at school :)

Cracking film though. And she did still ming a bit after the 'transformation'.
