Hmmm...I go back and forth on the 'thanks' thing. Sometimes I feel it's sort of arrogant not to say something, other times I think it's kind of self-indulgent to say thanks, because it's not you that's been front-paged, it's the image.

Yes!That one kind of irritates me as well - for all the people who just look at the front page without ever checking the site out, it must make no sense at all why there are thankyou messages.
