# HELP ME FRED JACK... YOU'RE MY ONLY HOPE...
All - a quickie - I've got a memorystick full of images and they've all gone corrupt with the message 'unknown or invalid jpeg marker type is found'.

I've lost the lot and am desperate to save them, but with limited knowledge I find I am as useless as a useless thing.

Any great ideas? Will pay in kittens.

cries in the corner...

# what're you trying to load them in?
it might just be an unsupported jpeg algorithm

# I'm trying to open them in trusty photoshop
Is it possible to fix them?

# try 'open as' and then a few likley formats
it usually says that if they are something else like a tiff

# Hmmm... have just tried that out
and got the message "can't open because".

Think my computer might be taking the piss now.

Edit: Tried a different format and it said "Photoshop was unable to parse the Postscript".

I love it when my computer talks dirty.
