Hi prof, you know these things.
I've got an .avi file with an associated .srt file for the subtitles. I was wondering if there's a way to get WMP or MPClassic to pick it up, or if I need to install BSPlayer?

not sure if srt is compatible with media player
but if you're trying to turn subtitles on and they aren't coming up you may need to get bs player or a standalone subtitle player which I experimented with but wasn't that good.
